================================

Community members, city councilmen and the Mayor of Sharon, Renee Brown (with scissors), cut the ribbon to the acreage that will be used next year for Sharon Shenanigans.

Mr. Ramsden brought his solar telescopes, in honor of Deerlick Astronomy Village, the Darkest Skies in Georgia, so participants could actually look at the sun!

The Sheriff’s Department was on duty to make sure everyone acted appropriately. Rob Moore with daughter Shelby and John Walton Henderson with daughter Chloe enjoyed their day at the event.
